Kahlida is…

an attorney, communicator, and a woman of purpose. Kahlida’s faith has always directed her path towards purpose. Kahlida is a positive, innovative and dedicated leader who serves as the Founder & President of Mission Reconcile, a faith based racial reconciliation nonprofit created to bring together predominantly single race/culture churches to talk about race, racism and create organic relationships through the lens of Jesus. Kahlida has a love for people and a love for bringing people together. Kahlida was raised in Miami, Florida and born to Caribbean parents. She is based in New Orleans, Louisiana where her city and Caribbean roots collide. Kahlida has a legal background representing survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and guiding children and families through the intricacies of family law. Kahlida is a lifelong learner and developer of others. Kahlida seeks to ask the hard questions to get to solutions. Kahlida has inspired others on several stages and pulpits, and challenged many through her workshop facilitation. She has made several presentations on race, privilege and racial reconciliation. 

Kahlida is a proud cum laude graduate of Florida State University, a predominantly white institution (PWI) and proud magna cum laude graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, a historically black college and university (HBCU). Kahlida holds degrees in Communication, Political Science and Law. Kahlida has lived abroad and enjoys traveling and dancing. She has traveled to several Caribbean islands including Cuba, Thailand, Germany, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, to name a few. Kahlida knows that embodying your purpose is the key to making an impact on the world. Let’s Inspire together!
